Applying for Housing

After being admitted to Mississippi Delta Community College, students are encouraged to complete the housing application as soon as possible. A valid MDCC D-number is required to apply for housing.

Students will be prompted to pay the housing application fee at the end of the application process. Please note that submitting an application does not guarantee a housing assignment.

Housing Applications Open

• Fall Semester: November 5, 2026
• Spring Semester: May 5, 2027

Priority Deadlines

• Fall Semester: December 11, 2026
• Spring Semester: May 24, 2027

Current Room Reclaim Dates

• Fall Semester: November 2, 2026
• Spring Semester: May 3, 2027

Housing Application Fee

There is a $100 nonrefundable housing application fee for the full academic year, which includes the fall and spring semesters. The application fee must be paid to complete the housing application process.

Returning Student Requirements

Before completing a housing application, returning students must:

• Be enrolled in at least 12–15 credit hours for the upcoming semester.
• Have a processed FAFSA on file.
• Have their student account balance paid in full.

How to Apply for Housing

1. Log in to your MyDelta account.
2. Click the Student tab at the top of the page.
3. Under Forms, select Housing Application.
4. Complete and submit the housing application.
5. At the end of the application, follow the prompts to pay the $100 nonrefundable housing application fee.
