New Student Orientation |
Registration Dates: Registration Days are designated opportunities for prospective and admitted students to complete the administrative steps necessary for enrollment at MDCC. These dates allow students to submit required admissions documents, complete FAFSA requirements, meet with advisors, register for classes, resolve holds, and address any outstanding enrollment requirements before attending orientation. These dates are not mandatory for students to attend. Our goal is to have students fully registered prior to the designated Registration Days whenever possible, using these dates as additional opportunities to complete any remaining enrollment requirements.
New Student Orientation Date: New Student Orientation is designed to prepare students for a successful transition to MDCC. Once students are admitted and registered, orientation can focus on student success, campus resources, academic expectations, and building a sense of belonging rather than completing administrative enrollment tasks. The goal is for every student attending New Student Orientation to be fully admitted and registered at MDCC prior to attending orientation.
